UNION COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 18, 2022

DELAWARE, Ohio (Thursday, September 15, 2022) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Union County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

U.S. Route 33

NEW IMPACTS

U.S. 33 eastbound and westbound between U.S. 42 and Post Rd. will have nightly lane restrictions (7 p.m. - 5 a.m.) starting Sunday, September 18 through Wednesday, September 21.
The U.S. 33 westbound ramp to U.S. 42 will close overnight (7 p.m. - 5 a.m.) on Wednesday, September 21.
- Detour: U.S. 33 westbound to Scottslawn Rd. to U.S. 33 eastbound to U.S. 42.
The U.S. 42 ramp to U.S. 33 westbound will close overnight (7 p.m. - 5 a.m.) on Wednesday, September 21.
- Detour: U.S. 42 to U.S. 33 eastbound to Avery Rd. to U.S. 33 westbound.

State Route 161

CONTINUING IMPACTS

SR 161 eastbound and westbound at U.S. 33 will be reduced to one lane starting Thursday, August 11 through June 2025.

The Post Rd./SR 161 westbound ramp to U.S. 33 eastbound will close starting 9 a.m., Monday, August 29 through Fall 2023. Traffic will need to use the Eiterman Rd. roundabout to access the U.S. 33 eastbound ramp.
