Clermont County (Thursday, August 18, 2022) – As work continues on the intersection improvement project at state Route 125 and Bach Buxton Road, lane restrictions will be imparted next week.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close the right lane of S.R. 125, immediately west of Bach Buxton Road. Traffic will be shifted to the left, and the right-turn lane from S.R. 125 to Bach Buxton Road will remain open.
The project includes construction of a southbound right-turn lane on Bach Buxton at the intersection, as well as signal upgrades with the installation of new signal. Although traffic is being maintained through the work zone, motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution.
Complete General Construction was awarded a contract in the amount of $538,005 to complete the project, and all work is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
