MAHONING COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

WEEK OF AUGUST 15

AKRON, Ohio (Thursday, August 11, 2022) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Mahoning County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

     Interstate 680 bridge replacement

Interstate 680 bridge replacements, Youngstown
NEW IMPACT – Beginning Monday, August 22, Four Mile Rd. over I-680 will be closed through late November for a bridge replacement. The detour will be Crum Rd. to Meridian Rd. to Salt Springs Rd. to Liberty St.

State Route 626 railroad crossing repairs, Beaver Township
NEW IMPACT –  SR 626 between E. Calla Rd. and Forest Ave. is closed through Monday, August 15. The detour is SR 626 to SR 7 to SR 164.
