WEEK OF JUNE 27
AKRON, Ohio (Thursday, June 23, 2022) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Portage County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

Interstate 76 bridge replacements |
Interstate 76 bridge replacements, Palmyra Township NEW IMPACT – Beginning on Monday, June 27, the following lane restriction, and closure will be in place through late October 2022:
- Milton-Newton Rd. over I-76 will be closed. The detour will be Tallmadge Rd. to McClintocksburg Rd. to Cable Line Rd.
- I-76 under Milton-Newton Rd. will have various lane restrictions.
- John Thomas Rd. over I-76 is NOW OPEN
CONTINUING IMPACT – The following lane restriction is in place through late June:
- I-76 under John Thomas Rd. has various lane restrictions.

E. Mennonite Rd., resurfacing, Auror NEW IMPACT – Beginning on Monday, June 27, E. Mennonite Rd. between SR 43 and the eastern Corporation limit will have various daily lane restrictions. Estimated completion, late July 2022.
