WOOD COUNTY: Highway Construction Update

*Closures start Monday*

Project ID: 93592, 93594

Interstate 75, between Buck Road and Monroe Street, Toledo/Rossford/Northwood, will be two lanes in each direction for major reconstruction. Lane restrictions and overnight ramp closures possible. Estimated completion: Fall 2023.

 

New Announcements/Upcoming Impacts

  • Southbound I-75 exit ramp to South Ave. (exit 200) will be closed beginning Monday, June 6 for ramp and South Ave. intersection reconstruction through June.
  • South Ave., between northbound South Ave. ramps and southbound South Ave. ramps, will be closed for reconstruction beginning Monday, June 6 through early August.

 

Continuing Work

  • Southbound/outbound State Route 25/Anthony Wayne Trail will be reduced to one lane between I-75 and Collingwood Blvd. for reconstruction of AW Trail through spring 2022.
  • Ramp from northbound I-75 to Downtown/Anthony Wayne Trail/SR 25 (Exit 201B) is now open following reconstruction.
  • Southbound I-75 ramp to Washington St./Downtown, Exit 202A, is closed for reconstruction through late June.
    • Detour to downtown: Exit Collingwood Blvd. (Exit 202B) to south on Collingwood Blvd. to east on Dorr St. to south on Washington St.
  • Nebraska Avenue is closed over I-75 between Division Street and Erie Street for bridge replacement through July 2022.
    • Detour: Erie St. to Collingwood Blvd. to Nebraska Ave.
  • Ramp from northbound/inbound Anthony Wayne Trail to northbound I-75 is closed for ramp reconfiguration through summer 2022.
    • Detour: Anthony Wayne Trail to Washington St. to northbound I-75.
  • Ramp from southbound/outbound Anthony Wayne Trail to southbound I-75 is closed for ramp reconfiguration through summer 2022.
    • Detour: Washington St. to Dorr St. to Collingwood Blvd. to southbound I-75.

US 23_large

Project ID: 102922

U.S. Route 23, between Township Road 49 and US 6, Risingsun, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through September.


SR 25

Project ID: 110037

State Route 25, between Newton Rd. and SR 582, Bowling Green, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through August.


SR 25

Project ID: 92133

State Route 25, between Cygnet Rd. and US 6, Bowling Green/Portage, will experience lane restrictions and closures for roadway reconstruction through summer 2023.

  • SR 25, between Cygnet Rd. and Portage, is closed for storm sewer work and road reconstruction through October. Residential access will be maintained. Detour: I-75 and US 6.
  • SR 281 at SR 25 will be closed for intersection reconstruction through late June. Local residents currently going north to SR 281 will need to go south to Bays Rd. during the intersection closure.
  • Greensburg Pike, northern leg to the west, is closed at SR 25 for intersection reconstruction through Friday, July 1.

State Route 65, between SR 235 and Henry County line, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through September.

  • SR 65 is closed between SR 235 and Weston Rd. for emergency base and pavement repairs through Friday, June 10. Local detour only: Weston Rd. to Kellogg Rd. to SR 235

SR 105

*Closure starts Monday*

Project ID: Maintenance

State Route 105, between Dunbridge Rd. and Carter Rd., Bowling Green, will be closed for a sewer project beginning Monday, June 6 through Friday, June 10. Detour: Northbound I-75 to SR 582 to SR 199.

Project ID: 94340

State Route 281, between SR 235 and I-75, Wingston/Rudolph, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through September.


SR 281

Project ID: Maintenance

State Route 281, between the Wood/Henry line and SR 235, will be closed for pavement repair on Monday, June 13, 6 a.m.-6 p.m.


Various routes district-wide will experience lane restrictions for routine guardrail, lighting, and pavement markings and maintenance throughout the year.
