Interstate 75 Bridge Repair Project Update

Hamilton County (Thursday, May 12, 2022) – Work on the bridge rehabilitation project over Interstate 75 continues, with traffic restrictions being imparted next week.

Beginning at 10 p.m. Monday, May 16, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close the ramp from I-275 West to I-75 North until 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 17. While the ramp is closed, traffic will be detoured via I-275 West and state Route 747.

In addition, a single-lane closure will be in place on I-75 North at the I-275 interchange from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., with a double-lane closure from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

On Tuesday, May 17, a single-lane closure will be in place on I-75 North at the I-275 interchange beginning at 8 p.m., followed by a double-lane closure at 11 p.m., with all lanes open at 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 18. Also, the ramp from I-275 East to I-75 North will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., and traffic will be detoured via I-275 East and Mosteller Road. 

Complete General Construction Co. was awarded a contract for approximately $1.93 million to repair and rehabilitate the bridge, which calls for replacing the wearing surface and full-depth repairs, replacing the expansion joints and painting the bridge, and all work is scheduled to be completed by mid-fall of 2022.
