CLERMONT COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

Through the week ending April 23, 2022: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Clermont County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. NEW & CONTINUING IMPACTS S.R. 32 Interchange/Expansion - Construction of an interchange at the intersection of S.R. 32 and Bach Buxton Road/Elick Lane and widening of S.R. 32 West between the new interchange and Glen Este-Withamsville (GEW) Road. Intermittent restrictions will be in place on the mainline, as well as on local roads, including the following: Thursday, April 21: Single-lane closure on S.R. 32 East, between Fayard Drive and GEW Road, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday. Thursday, April 28: Closure of Marian Drive at Elick Lane/Bach Buxton Road. This will be a temporary closure during construction, and the route will reopen in the summer of 2023. Friday, April 29: Traffic pattern shifts on Bach Buxton Road, from Marian Drive to just south of Clepper Lane for realignment and widening. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone. S.R. 32 RCUT Installation - At the intersection with Bauer Road. Operations have been suspended for the winter months; however, crews will return in the spring to complete final operations. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2022.

NEW IMPACT

S.R. 28 Intersection Improvement/Bridge Repair - Construction of a continuous flow lane from Business S.R. 28 to I-275 North and bridge rehabilitation on the S.R. 28 structure over I-275. Intermittent lane restrictions will be in effect on S.R. 28 during the evening and overnight hours. The entire project is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2023.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

S.R. 131 Intersection Improvement - At the intersection of Wolfpen/Pleasant Hill roads. Most work has been suspended for the winter months; however, crews will return in the spring to complete final signalization, curbs and pedestrian facilities. 

S.R. 32, S.R. 743 & U.S. 52 Vegetation Clearing - On S.R. 32, between the Olive Branch-Stonelick Road; on S.R. 743, between U.S. 52 and S.R. 756; and S.R. 132 interchanges and on U.S. 52, between Clermontville-Laurel and Point Pleasant roads. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers during hours of operation.  

S.R. 756 Culvert Replacement/Resurfacing - Between S.R. 232 and the Brown County line. Construction also includes pavement repairs and replacing three culverts within the project limits. Restrictions will be in effect for paving operations between S.R. 133 and the Brown County line. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2022.

U.S. 50 Resurfacing - Between S.R. 222 and Owensville. Operations were suspended for the winter months; however, crews will return to complete final paving and pavement markings. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2022.
