U.S. 35 Lane Widening Project Update
Montgomery County (Wednesday, March 16, 2022) - The U.S. 35 Lane Widening Project in Montgomery County is entering into the final phase of construction. Currently, the contractor for the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will complete the outside portion of U.S. 35 eastbound, along with paving operations, and guardrail repairs on U.S. 35 westbound.

Wednesday, March 16 - Wednesday, August 31:

U.S. 35 Eastbound will be reduced to two lanes between Steve Whalen Boulevard and Interstate 675. The right-lane of U.S. 35 eastbound will remain closed until the project is finished. All ramps will remain open.

U.S. 35 Westbound will experience daily right-lane and shoulder closures between Steve Whalen Boulevard and I-675. All ramps will remain open. Crews will be performing guardrail and lighting work.
Wednesday, March 16 - Friday, March 25, 8 p.m. - 6 a.m.:

U.S. 35 Eastbound will be reduced to one lane nightly, between Steve Whalen Boulevard and I-675 in preparation for phase 3 of the project.
Motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution through the work zone to help ensure the safety of crews as well as the traveling public: Remain alert, reduce speed and watch for stopped traffic.
