WARREN COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

Through the week ending October 23, 2021: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Warren County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. I-71_Small

I-71 Interchange Construction - Construction of an on-ramp from southbound Mason-Montgomery Road to I-71 South. Preliminary site work is under way, and traffic is being maintained on the mainline, as well as on Mason-Montgomery Road. The entire project is scheduled for completion in Summer 2023.

Sunday, Oct. 17: The right lane of I-71 South will be closed over Mason-Montgomery and Field-Ertel roads to place portable concrete barrier (PCB) wall and perform pavement work from 8 p.m. Sunday until 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18.

 

NEW IMPACTS

S.R. 73 & S.R. 350 Vegetation Clearing - On S.R. 73, between Waynesville and Corwin Road, and on S.R. 350, between S.R. 123 and the Clinton County line. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers, traffic cones and/or arrow boards as needed.

S.R. 123 Erosion Control -  Between Settlemire Road and Lebanon. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers, traffic cones and/or arrow boards as needed.

 

CONTINUING IMPACTS

Riley Boulevard SignalizationAt the intersections of East 4th St. and East 6th St. and at the intersection of E. 6th and Anderson streets in Franklin. Various lane closures will be in effect daily, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Traffic will be maintained during construction.

C.R. 19 (South Dixie Highway) Resurfacing - Between the city of Franklin and Riley Boulevard. Single-lane restrictions will be in effect daily, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through early September. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers during hours of operation.

U.S. 22 Safety Improvement - Single-lane restrictions will be in effect at the intersection of Zoar Road for  a turn-lane construction project at the intersection. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers while crews are at work.
