S.R. 264 Closure Scheduled This Month
For Culvert Work

Hamilton County (Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021) – The first phase of a project to replace and repair three culverts on state Route 264 (Bridgetown Road) in Hamilton County is set to begin, with construction getting under way later this month.

On Monday, Oct. 25, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close Bridgetown Road just west of Fiddlers Green Road for the first of three projects between Cleves and Glenway Avenue. The closure will be in effect for up to 20 days, and while the route is closed, motorists will be detoured by way of Shady Lane, U.S. Route 50 and Fiddlers Green Road.

In addition to this location, crews will be rehabilitating two structures located between Cleves and El Vista Drive and near Moonridge Drive, respectively, and although a start date for work at either site has yet to be outlined, it is anticipated that construction will begin in early spring of next year.

Prus Construction Company was awarded a contract for approximately $163,187 to rehab all three culverts, and all work is scheduled for completion in late summer of 2022.
