SANDUSKY COUNTY: Highway Construction Update

U.S. Route 6, between CR 232 and TR 240, Fremont, is closed for a bridge replacement. Estimated completion: September 30. Detour: US 20 to SR 412 to SR 510.

U.S. Route 6/20, between Christy Rd. and near the US 6 split, Fremont, will experience lane restrictions for wet reflective pavement striping on Monday, September 27 and Tuesday, September 28.

Eastbound U.S. Route 20, between State Street and US 6, Fremont, may experience lane restrictions for finish work.

U.S. Route 20, between County Road 32 and County Road 117, Woodville, is reduced to one lane in each direction at the railroad tracks due to pavement conditions.

State Route 18, between Ashford Ave. and Hamilton St., Bellevue, will be closed for railroad repairs beginning Wednesday, September 29 through Friday, October 1. Work performed by railroad. Detour: County Road 62 to SR 269.

State Route 19, between Maple Ln. and Academy St., Green Springs, may experience lane restrictions for finish work through October.

Clay St., between Academy St. and Morgan St., may experience lane restrictions for sidewalk replacement finish work. Restrictions will be announced for signal work in October.

State Route 53, between Schwartz Rd. and the Ohio Turnpike, Fremont, may experience lane restrictions for Turnpike work. Estimated completion: September. Additional restrictions may be announced. State Route 101, between SR 510 and US 20, Clyde, will be closed for railroad repairs through Friday, September 24. Work performed by railroad. Detour: SR 778 to SR 19 to US 20.

State Route 300, north of SR 600, Gibsonburg, is closed for work performed by the Village of Gibsonburg. Detour: US 6 to US 23 to US 20. Contact the Village for more information.

State Route 510, between SR 101 and US 20, Clyde, will be closed for railroad repairs through Friday, September 24. Work performed by railroad. Detour: SR 778 to SR 19 to US 20.

Various routes district-wide will experience lane restrictions for routine guardrail, lighting, and pavement markings and maintenance throughout the year.
