BUTLER COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

Through the week ending September 4, 2021: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Butler County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. CONTINUING IMPACT I-75 Resurfacing - Pavement repair and resurfacing between the Hamilton-Butler County line (Crescentville Road) to just north of Tylersville Road. Traffic will be maintained with single-lane restrictions in effect through the work zone; double-lane closures may be in effect during late evening/overnight hours as needed. A reduced speed limit is also in effect. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-fall. I-75 Resurfacing - From just north of Tylersville Road to the S.R. 129/Liberty Way interchange. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone, with nightly lane closures in effect during the late evening and overnight hours. Various nightly ramp closures will also be in effect at Tylersville Road, Liberty Way and S.R. 129. A reduced speed limit will be in effect. The project is scheduled for completion in early fall.

NEW IMPACT

S.R. 4 Guardrail Repair - Between Middletown Georgetown Road and the Montgomery County line. Traffic will be maintained by arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers during hours of operation.

S.R. 129 Shoulder Reconditioning - Near S.R. 748 at Millville. Traffic will be maintained by arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers during hours of operation.

S.R. 130 Pavement Repairs - At various locations on the route. Traffic will be maintained by arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers during hours of operation.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

S.R. 4 Bridge Rehabilitation - At the structure over S.R. 63. Single-lane closures will be in effect on S.R. 4. The ramp from S.R. 4 South to S.R. 63 East will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day, and the ramp from S.R. 63 West to S.R. 4 South will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. In addition, the ramp to Dazey Drive is closed through the summer. The entire project is scheduled for early Fall 2021.

S.R. 4/Bypass S.R. 4 Intersection Improvement - Widening at the northern intersection of S.R. 4 and S.R. 4 Bypass, north of Hamilton. Traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one lane on both routes. The project is scheduled for completion in Fall 2021.

• Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, August 30, contractors working on the traffic signals at S.R. 4/Bypass 4 will de-energize the signal. Traffic will be maintained through the intersection with law enforcement officers, and work is expected to be completed by 2 p.m.

S.R. 129 Resurfacing - Between U.S. 27 at Millville and the Indiana state line. Traffic will be maintained in one lane with flaggers, daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. All work is scheduled to be completed in late September.

S.R. 73 Resurfacing - Between Germantown Road and the northern corporation limit of Middletown. Single-lane restrictions will be in place daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. through early fall for paving operations. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone. The project is scheduled to be completed in September 2021.

S.R. 122 Bridge Rehabilitation - Single-lane restrictions on Reinartz Boulevard between Charles and Moore streets in Middletown. In addition, the right lane of University Boulevard is closed in the northbound direction, and the southbound shoulder is closed under the bridge. The entire project is scheduled for completion in early fall 2021.

S.R. 122 Intersection Improvement - At the intersection of Roosevelt and Breiel boulevards in Middletown. Lane restrictions will be in effect on both routes; however, traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one lane. Construction is scheduled to be completed in mid-fall of 2021.

S.R. 129 Interchange Improvement - At Liberty Way and I-75. A project by the Butler County Engineer's Office to extend S.R. 129 east to a roundabout at Cox Road, north of Liberty Way. Various nighttime restrictions will be in effect on the ramps to/from I-75; however, traffic will be maintained. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2022.

U.S. 127 Roundabout - At the intersection with S.R. 73. Various lane restrictions will be in effect on U.S. 127 and S.R. 73 throughout construction. S.R. 73 West is closed at U.S. 127 through late September, and traffic will be detoured via S.R. 177, S.R. 732, S.R. 725 and U.S. 127.
