State Route 800 Major Rehabilitation Project


Upcoming closure location schedule change


Tuscarawas County: Beginning Monday, June 21, SR 800 will close in Zoarville from SR 212 west to the SR 212 east intersection. During the closure period, there will be no access to or from SR 800 at either intersection. This closure is part of the ongoing SR 800 major rehabilitation project.

SR 800 and the SR 212 intersections are expected to reopen by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 2, weather permitting. 

Detours: 

  • State Route 800 detour: State Route 416 south to U.S. 250 west, U.S. 250 west to I-77 north, I-77 north Exit 103 for State Route 800 south, and reverse.
  • State Route 212 east (toward Atwood) detour: I-77 to Exit 81 for SR 39 east, SR 39 east to return to SR 212 east.
  • State Route 212 west (toward I-77/Zoar/Bolivar) detour: SR 212 east to SR 39 west, SR 39 west to I-77 north, I-77 north to Exit 93 to return to SR 212 west.

Residents and property owners within the closure areas will have one-way access to their homes and properties. However, the road will be closed to through traffic within the given closure dates.
