WARREN COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update
Through the week ending June 5, 2021: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Warren County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. NEW IMPACTS
U.S. 22 Bridge Rehabilitation - At the Fosters Viaduct over the Little Miami River, near Old 3C Highway. U.S. 22 will be closed for 50 days effective June 7. Motorists will be detoured via Columbia Road, Western Row Road, I-71 and S.R. 48. The following restrictions will also be in place:
- The eastbound lane of Socialville-Fosters Road and the westbound lane of Fosters-Maineville Road will both be closed on their approach to Old 3C.
- Left turns from Old 3C onto Socialville-Fosters Road and Fosters-Maineville Road will be prohibited.
- The Little Miami Scenic Park Trail crossing at Old 3C will be closed.
S.R. 132 Safety Improvement - At the intersection with Morrow Rossburg Road. The existing two-way stop intersection will be be converted to a four-way stop. The traffic change is scheduled to be implemented on June 23; however, warning signs will be installed in advance to alert motorists of the upcoming change.
CONTINUING IMPACTS
Riley Boulevard Signalization - At the intersections of East 4th St. and East 6th St. and at the intersection of E. 6th and Anderson streets in Franklin. Various lane closures will be in effect daily, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Traffic will be maintained during construction.
Old S.R. 122, S.R. 73 & S.R. 123 Guardrail Installation - On Old S.R. 122, between Drake and Utica roads; on S.R. 73, at multiple locations between the city of Franklin and the village of Waynesville; and on S.R. 123 (Kenneth Koons Blvd./Central Ave.) in Franklin, between N. Main Street and Dayton Oxford Road. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers.
S.R. 73 Ditching - Between Clarksville and Furnas Oglesby roads. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers.
U.S. 22 Vegetation Clearing - On U.S. 22, between Morrow and the Clinton County line. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers.
S.R. 73 Trail Extension - At the Great Miami River Scenic Trail, along S.R. 73 between Baxter Drive and N. Breiel Boulevard. Traffic is being maintained in both directions on S.R. 73 West; however, intermittent single-lane restrictions will be in effect through late June. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2021.
S.R. 123 Paving - Between U.S. 22 and Watkins Bowman Road. Traffic maintained with flaggers. The project is scheduled to be completed by late summer.
U.S. 22 Safety Improvement - Intermittent single-lane restrictions will be in effect during weekday, business hours at the intersection of Zoar Road for clearing and other preliminary site work in preparation for a turn-lane construction project at the intersection. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers as needed.
