  Project Update

    Traffic Pattern Shift, Ramp Reopens

Montgomery County (Thursday, May 13, 2021) - The following restrictions will be in place as part of the dual bridge repair project on Interstate 75 over Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and Carillon Boulevard in Dayton. All work is contingent upon weather.

Wednesday, May 19 - May 26:

  • Multiple single and double lane closures on I-75, in each direction, between Albany Street and S.R. 741, from 7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. The contractor will be making preparations for a new traffic pattern shift. 

Wednesday, May 19:

  • Lane width restrictions on I-75 northbound between S.R. 741 and Albany Street.  Motorists can expect three 10’ lanes in the work zone from Wednesday, May 19 - Sunday, August 22.

Friday, May 21:

  • The I-75 southbound exit ramp to Edwin C. Moses Boulevard will reopen on Friday, May 21, 2021.
  • Expect a traffic pattern shift on I-75 southbound between Albany Street and S.R. 741, on Friday, May 21 through Sunday, August 22. The two 10' thru-lanes on I-75 southbound will shift to the newly constructed pavement. The far-left 10' lane will remain shifted onto I-75 northbound from Stewart Street then shift back at S.R. 741 (Springboro Pike) in Moraine. 

Motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution through the work zone to help ensure the safety of crews as well as the traveling public: Remain alert, reduce speed and watch for stopped traffic.
