Clermont County (Friday, April 30, 2021) – As part of a resurfacing project on Interstate 275, restrictions will be imparted next week on I-275 South and the state Route 450 interchange for milling and paving.

On Monday, May 3, the merge lanes and the exit and entrance ramps at I-275 South and S.R. 450 will be closed from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 4. This will be followed by nightly ramp closures at the interchange:

  • The exit ramp from I-275 South to S.R. 450 East (Ramp G), from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 4-5.
  • The exit ramp from I-275 South to S.R. 450 West (Ramp B), from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday, May 5-6.
  • The entrance ramp from S.R. 450 East to I-275 South (Ramp F), from 10 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, May 6-7.
  • The entrance ramp from S.R. 450 West to I-275 South (Ramp C), from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, May 7-8.

All overnight closures are scheduled to be lifted by 5 a.m. each morning. In addition, various lane closures remain in place on I-275 between the Loveland Madeira Road and S.R. 450 interchanges from 8 p.m. each evening to 6 a.m. the following day; traffic will be maintained through the work zone.

The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded a contract for approximately $9.55 million to complete the project, which includes pavement repairs, paving and guardrail upgrades, and construction is scheduled to be completed by early fall 2021.

All work will be contingent upon the weather. For ongoing traffic, construction and weather-related information throughout the state, please visit www.OHGO.com.
