WARREN COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update
Through the week ending April 24, 2021: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Warren County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. NEW IMPACTS
Old S.R. 122, S.R. 73 & S.R. 123 Guardrail Installation - On Old S.R. 122, between Drake and Utica roads; on S.R. 73, at multiple locations between the city of Franklin and the village of Waynesville; and on S.R. 123 (Kenneth Koons Blvd./Central Ave.) in Franklin, between N. Main Street and Dayton Oxford Road. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers.
S.R. 73 Ditching - Between Clarksville and Furnas Oglesby roads. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers.
U.S. 22 Bridge Rehabilitation - Over the Little Miami River. During the week of April 26-30, single-lane closures will be in effect from 8 p.m. each night to 6 a.m. the following day for preliminary site work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
CONTINUING IMPACTS
Riley Boulevard Signalization - At the intersections of East 4th St. and East 6th St. and at the intersection of E. 6th and Anderson streets in Franklin. Various lane closures will be in effect daily, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Traffic will be maintained during construction, and the project is scheduled for completion by mid-May.
S.R. 73 Trail Extension - At the Great Miami River Scenic Trail, along S.R. 73 between Baxter Drive and N. Breiel Boulevard. Traffic is being maintained in both directions on S.R. 73 West with little to no impact to motorists. The project is scheduled for completion in Sept. 2021.
U.S. 22 Safety Improvement - Intermittent single-lane restrictions will be in effect during weekday, business hours at the intersection of Zoar Road for clearing and other preliminary site work in preparation for a turn-lane construction project at the intersection. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers as needed.
