BUTLER COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update
NEW IMPACTS
S.R. 4 Bridge Rehabilitation - At the structure over S.R. 63. Lane closures will be in effect on S.R. 4; however, traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one lane in either direction. Various ramp closures will also be in effect during construction. Completion is scheduled for early Fall 2021.
S.R. 122 Bridge Rehabilitation - Single-lane restrictions on Reinartz Boulevard between Charles and Moore streets in Middletown beginning March 15. Construction is scheduled for completion in early Fall 2021.
S.R. 747 Signalization - At the intersections of Mulhauser and Port Union roads. Single-lane closures will be in effect March 8-12 daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mulhauser and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Port Union Road.
S.R. 744 Ditching - Between S.R. 503 and Shurz Road near Jacksonburg. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers.
S.R. 177 Vegetation Clearing - Near Oxford Middletown Road. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers.
S.R. 73 Bridge Cleaning - At various locations on S.R. 73 throughout the county. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers.
CONTINUING IMPACTS
C.R. 24 (Jacksonburg Road) Roundabout – The north leg of Jacksonburg Road is closed at the intersection with S.R. 73. The closure will be in effect through early June, 2021, and traffic will be detoured by way of Wayne Madison and Howe roads.
S.R. 73 Roundabout Construction - At the intersection with Jacksonburg Road. Trucks will be entering and exiting the work site, and motorists may encounter periodic delays. S.R. 73 may be subject to single-lane restrictions daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; however, traffic will be maintained by flaggers as needed. Completion is scheduled for Summer 2021.
