Fallen Timbers Lane Bridge Rehabilitation

Bridge closure delayed one week, begins Monday, February 22

Ramps remain open

 

BOWLING GREEN (February 11, 2021) - On Monday, February 22, ODOT is beginning a three-month bridge closure of Fallen Timbers Lane over U.S. Route 24 for a bridge rehabilitation project. The rehabilitation includes bridge deck replacement, substructure rehabilitation, raising the vertical profile over US 24, and all associated approach work. 

While the Fallen Timbers Lane bridge over US 24 will be closed for bridge replacement, the ramps will remain open.

U.S. Route 24: Fallen Timbers Lane above US 24, Maumee/Waterville, will be closed for bridge replacement beginning Monday, February 22, through mid-May. Ramps remain open. 

Detours: Southbound Fallen Timbers Lane: Westbound US 24 to SR 64 (Exit 63) to eastbound US 24
Northbound Fallen Timbers Lane: Eastbound US 24 to northbound I-475/US 23 (Exit 68B) to westbound US 24 (Exit 4B) 

  • Overnight lane restrictions are possible on US 24 for falsework placement through Sunday, February 14.
