ODOT Prepared for Snow and Ice

Chillicothe, Ohio (Wednesday, January 27) - Snow is in the forecast and ODOT crews are ready to respond.

  • A winter storm is moving east to west across Kentucky and Indiana and is expected to reach Ohio this evening.
  • Total accumulations are expected to be low, at or around 1 inch for most parts of southern Ohio.
  • Pavement temperatures will be below freezing. 
  • Some areas may continue to experience snowfall into the early morning hours.
  • ODOT crews pre-treated during the day, and will be out treating during the evening. Additional crews will be brought in overnight if needed. 
  • Drivers are asked to move over and slow down for plow trucks!
