INTERSTATE 271 PROJECT

Interstate 271 ramp re-alignment – Replace and re-align the ramp from I-271 northbound to I-90 westbound and replace two bridges on I-271 between Eddy Rd. and I-90 in Willoughby Hills. Estimated Completion: September 2021

NEW IMPACTS

The following closures will be in place on Monday, January 25, through Tuesday, January 26, between 7:30 p.m. and 6 am. for bridge work.

  • I-271 southbound express lanes at SR 91 will be closed.
    • The detour will be I-271 southbound local lanes.
  • I-271 northbound express lanes at I-90 –will be closed.
    • The detour will be I-271 northbound local lanes.
  • I-90 eastbound just east of Bishop Rd. will be closed.
    • The detour will be I-271 southbound local lanes to Wilson Mills Rd. to I-271 northbound local lanes to I-90 east.

The following closures will be in place on Tuesday, January 26, through Wednesday, January 27, between 7:30 p.m. and 6 am. for bridge work.

  • I-271 northbound express lanes at I-90 –will be closed.
    • The detour will be I-90 west to Bishop Rd. to I-90 east to I-271 north.
  • I-271 northbound local lanes at I-90 – will be closed.
    • The detour will be I-90 west to Bishop Rd. to I-90 east to I-271 north.

The following closures will be in place on Wednesday, January 27, through Thursday, January 28, between 7:30 p.m. and 6 am. for bridge work.

  • I-271 northbound local lanes at I-90 – will be closed.
    • The detour will be I-90 west to Bishop Rd. to I-90 east to I-271 north.
