ODOT to present project information online regarding U.S. 30 roadway relocation project

AKRON - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 4 invites the public to a virtual public meeting to discuss the proposed U.S. 30 relocation project on U.S. 30 in the village of East Canton.

The proposed project would include the relocation of U.S. Route 30 from the existing Trump Avenue interchange to State Route 44 east of the village of East Canton. Proposed new U.S. 30 will be four-lane limited access freeway about three miles long. The proposed project also has permanent and temporary Right-of-Way is required and several residential displacements are required.
The meeting will be held virtually to protect the health of all Ohio citizens, and in accordance with the executive orders issued by the Governor of the State of Ohio and the Director of the Ohio Department of Health.
The project team will give a presentation about the project. Participants can submit questions to the project team either during the meeting or later. Your attendance at the meeting would be greatly appreciated; however, all materials presented, including the presentation, exhibits and comment form, will be available on the project website during and after the meeting so they can be viewed at your convenience.

The purpose of the meeting is to explain the overall proposed project, answer your questions, and get your input.
