BUTLER COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update
Through the week ending December 19, 2020: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Butler County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. CONTINUING IMPACTS
C.R. 20 (Tylersville Road) Bridge Deck Replacement - Construction of bridge deck replacement at the I-75 overpass structure has been suspended for the winter months. All lanes of Tylersville Road are open to traffic. Construction will resume in the spring, and the entire project is scheduled for June 2021.
C.R. 24 (Jacksonburg Road) Roundabout – The north leg of Jacksonburg Road is closed at the intersection with S.R. 73. The closure will be in effect through early June, 2021, and traffic will be detoured by way of Wayne Madison and Howe roads.
S.R. 73 Roundabout Construction - At the intersection with Jacksonburg Road. Trucks will be entering and exiting the work site, and motorists may encounter periodic delays. S.R. 73 may be subject to single-lane restrictions daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; however, traffic will be maintained by flaggers as needed. Completion is scheduled for Summer 2021.
NEW IMPACTS
S.R. 73 Channel Protection - At the bridge between Cotton Run and Jacksonburg roads. Traffic will be maintained by arrow boards, traffic cones, and or flaggers.
S.R. 126 Ditching - Near Weaver Road. Traffic will be maintained by arrow boards, traffic cones, and or flaggers.
S.R. 130 & S.R. 744 Tree Removal - At various locations on both routes. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers and/or arrow boards.
U.S. 27 Vegetation Control - Between Oxford and Millville. Traffic will be maintained by arrow boards and/or traffic cones.
U.S. 27 Signalization - Installation of school flashing lights at Maude Marshall Elementary School on Tuesday, Dec. 15. Single-lane restrictions between Stephenson and Nichols roads from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
