ALLEN COUNTY: Highway construction update
Week of November 23, 2020
LIMA, Ohio (Thursday, November 19, 2020) The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Allen County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.
Work will not take place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26.
This is the final weekly construction update from ODOT District 1 for the year. Updates on area projects will be provided as needed throughout the winter. Weekly communication will resume in April.

INTERSTATE 75 PROJECTS |
Interstate 75 between the Auglaize County line and the Hancock County line will have temporary lane restrictions for bridge maintenance.
Interstate 75 between Napoleon Road and state Route 235, just south of the village of Beaverdam to three miles north of the village of Bluffton, in Allen and Hancock counties, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures for paving and reconstruction through November 2020. CONTINUING IMPACT
- There are no scheduled lane restrictions and work is occurring in the median.
UPCOMING IMPACT
- Daytime lane restrictions in both directions are expected during the week of December 7 to remove the barrier wall and shift traffic.

U.S. 30 PROJECTS |
U.S. 30 between Slabtown Road overhead and Mayberry Road, two miles west of Beaverdam may have traffic control operations in effect beginning November 15 through mid-December for transmission line replacement by American Electric Power.
State Route 65/Elm Street and Pine Street at their intersection in the city of Lima closed June 1 for replacement of the bridges over the Ottawa River. Completion is expected in late fall. Visit the project page for more information.

- Bridges and intersection are open.
- Temporary lane closures may occur for finish work.
