BUTLER COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update
Through the week ending November 1, 2020: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Butler County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. CONTINUING IMPACTS
C.R. 19 (Cin-Day Road) Slide Repair - Landslide remediation along the ramp from Cin-Day Road to I-75 North. Traffic is being maintained with barrels and/or arrow boards.
C.R. 20 (Tylersville Road) Bridge Deck Replacement - Replace the deck and parapet walls on the I-75 overpass structure. Tylersville Road closed through Sunday, Oct. 25 at the overpass. The interchange ramps will remain open, and traffic will be detoured via I-75 and either the Liberty Way or the Cin-Day Road interchange. Completion of the entire project is scheduled for June 2021.
C.R. 24 (Jacksonburg Road) Roundabout – The north leg of Jacksonburg Road is closed at the intersection with S.R. 73. The closure will be in effect through early June, 2021, and traffic will be detoured by way of Wayne Madison and Howe roads.
S.R. 73 Roundabout Construction - At the intersection with Jacksonburg Road. Trucks will be entering and exiting the work site, and motorists may encounter periodic delays. S.R. 73 may be subject to single-lane restrictions daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; however, traffic will be maintained by flaggers as needed. Completion is scheduled for Summer 2021.
S.R. 4 Median Repair - At S.R. 73 in South Middletown next week. Width restrictions will be in effect at the S.R. 4/S.R. 73 ramps, and various lane closures will be in effect daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on S.R. 4. Traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one lane in either direction throughout construction, and all work is expected to be complete in mid-fall.
NEW IMPACTS
S.R. 744 Pavement Repair - Between Wayne's Trace and West Elkton roads. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers, arrow boards and/or barrels.
U.S. 27 Vegetation Clearing - Between the Hamilton County line and Millville. Traffic will be maintained by arrow boards and/or flaggers as needed.
