OTTAWA COUNTY: Highway Construction Update
State Route 2, between West Duff-Washa Road and West Camp Perry Western Road, Oak Harbor, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through October.
State Route 2, between State Route 163/West Harbor Rd. and State Route 53, Port Clinton, will be closed for pavement repairs, daily, beginning Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 23, 6:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Detour: SR 53 to SR 523 to SR 19 to SR 163 to SR 590
- Ramp from southbound SR 53 to westbound SR 2 will be closed
- Ramp from SR 163 Oak/Harbor to eastbound SR 2 will be closed
State Route 19, between SR 163 and Ottawa St., Oak Harbor, is closed through mid-October for work by the village of Oak Harbor. Please contact the village for more information.
State Route 51 Elmore Bridge reconstruction – SR 51 between Rice Street and State Route 105, over the Portage River, may experience lane restrictions for finish work. Expected completion: November.
State Route 105 near State Route 590, Oak Harbor, is closed for a culvert replacement. Estimated completion: Friday, October 16. Detour: SR 51 to SR 163 to SR 590 to SR 105
State Route 163, between State Route 269 and Faythe Drive, Port Clinton, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through mid-November. Short term width restrictions may be announced.
State Route 163, between State Route 2 and West Lakeshore Drive, will be closed for railroad repairs through mid-October. Work performed by railroad. Detour: SR 2 to SR 358
State Route 579, between North Genoa-Clay Center Road and North Nissan Road, Williston, is closed for a drainage project. Estimated completion: Monday, November 2. Detour: SR 51 to SR 163 to SR 590 to SR 2
Various routes district-wide will experience lane restrictions for routine guardrail, lighting, and pavement markings and maintenance throughout the year.
