SCIOTO COUNTY

Chillicothe, Ohio (Friday, October 2, 2020) - The U.S. Grant Bridge over the Ohio River on U.S. 23 in Portsmouth, Ohio will experience daily shoulder closures for completion of the structure's annual inspection from October 5 - 7.

Travel lanes on the bridge will remain open, but may experience short duration (15 minutes or less) closures or restrictions as needed, with traffic maintained using flaggers. The inspection will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Monday, October 5.

Estimated completion: Wednesday, October 7 by 3 p.m.
