HAMILTON COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update
Through the week ending October 10, 2020: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Hamilton County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. INTERSTATE 71 CONSTRUCTION
I-71 Major Rehabilitation - Widening to three lanes between S.R. 126 (Ronald Reagan Cross-County Highway) and S.R. 562 (Norwood Lateral), as well as bridge work at multiple structures and removing the Ridge Road exit and adding an exit to Kennedy Avenue on northbound I-71. Various lane restrictions will be in effect during nighttime hours for pavement work. The entire project is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2021.
I-71 NEW IMPACTS
Red Bank Road is reduced to one lane between Big Chief Drive and Ehrling Road. The single-lane restriction will be in effect through late October, and traffic will be maintained with temporary signals.
I-71 North traffic is shifted to the west (left) side of the interstate from just north of Red Bank Road to the Kenwood Road interchange, and the off-ramp from I-71 North to Stewart Road is closed through late October. Traffic will be detoured by way of Kenwood Road, Euclid Road and Stewart Road.

INTERSTATE 75 CONSTRUCTION
I-75/Thru the Valley Major Rehabilitation - Addition of a fourth lane from Shepherd Lane to Glendale-Milford Road, as well as reconstructing the Shepherd Lane interchange and realigning Neumann Way. Various lane restrictions will be in effect through the construction zone, and currently the Construction is scheduled to be completed in the late fall of 2020 or early winter of 2021.
I-75/Mill Creek Expressway Major Rehabilitation - Major rehabilitation project at the I-74/75 interchange to widen and resurface I-75 between Paddock Road and the Western Hills Viaduct and reconfigure the interchange. Construction also includes interchange improvements at Hopple Street, I-74, Mitchell Avenue, Norwood Lateral and Paddock Road. Various lane closures will be in effect through the construction zone. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2022.
I-75 North/Kemper Road Bridge Rehabilitation - On I-75 at Kemper Road. Intermittent single and double-lane closures from the Sharon Road interchange through the overpass at Kemper Road during overnight hours on weekends as needed.
I-75 Slide Repair - Along I-75 South near the entrance ramp from Hopple Street. The right lane and shoulder of southbound I-75 will be subject to evening and overnight closure between the Hopple Street interchange and the Marshall Avenue overpass nightly from approximately 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. The project is scheduled for completion in late October.

INTERSTATE 275 CONSTRUCTION

I-275 Bridge Rehabilitation and Resurfacing - Between the Four Mile Road interchange to the south end of the Combs Hehl (Ohio River) Bridge in Kentucky. Various lane and ramp closures will be in effect through the construction zone. All work is anticipated to be completed by early fall of 2020.

I-275 Bridge Maintenance - Nightly single-lane closure on I-275 North over Loveland-Madeira Road Sunday, Oct. 4, through Thursday, Oct. 8, from 8 p.m. each night to 6 a.m. the following morning. The right shoulder of I-275 West (North) at Loveland Madeira Road is closed through late October for a bridge maintenance project

CONTINUING IMPACTS
U.S. 22/S.R. 126 Roundabout - At the intersection of U.S. 22 (Montgomery Road) and S.R. 126 (Ronald Reagan Cross-County Highway) for the Montgomery Quarter Development project. Traffic is being maintained in a minimum of one lane on Montgomery Road; however, intermittent lane restrictions and closures may be in effect at the interchange ramps to and from Montgomery Road. The project is scheduled for completion in Summer 2021.
U.S. 27 Bridge Repair - On Colerain Avenue at the I-275 overpass. Single-lane restrictions in the north and southbound direction from 12 a.m. (midnight Friday) to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards and barrels.
U.S. 50 Resurfacing - Between Homewood Road and the western corporation limit of Terrace Park. Single-lane restrictions will be in effect in either direction, and traffic will be maintained by law enforcement officers, barrels and/or flaggers as needed. The project is scheduled for completion in early fall of 2020.
NEW IMPACTS
C.R. 251 (Blue Ash Road) Pavement Reconstruction - Between Duneden Avenue and Galbraith Road in Deer Park. Blue Ash Road will be closed to northbound traffic and open to one lane in the southbound direction. Northbound motorists will be detoured via Plainfield and Galbraith roads. The interesting side streets of Matson, Schenck and Oakwood avenues will also be subject to closure at their junction with northbound Blue Ash Road for up to three days at each location. Work is scheduled for completion in late October.
S.R. 129 Noise Barrier Wall Repair - At the I-75 interchange. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards and/or barrels.
S.R. 562/I-71 Catch Basin Repairs - At the I-71/S.R. 562 (Norwood Lateral) interchange ramp. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards and/or barrels.
Interstate Maintenance - Mowing, sweeping, berming, drainage work and cable barrier repair at various locations along I-71, I-74, I-75 and I-275 throughout the county. Single-lane closures will be in effect as needed, and traffic will be maintained by arrow boards.
