Interstate 71 South Traffic Switch Scheduled
Warren County (Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020) – Bridge work on the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge will require a traffic switch on Interstate 71 South tomorrow night.
Beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, both lanes on the southbound side of the bridge will be shifted to the left for crews to work on the outside (right) parapet wall. The shift is scheduled to be completed by 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2.
Traffic will be maintained in two lanes through the construction zone, and arrow boards, barrels, and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
