SUMMIT COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 28

AKRON, Ohio (Thursday, September 24, 2020) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Summit County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

    Interstate 480 projects

Interstate 480 pavement repairs, Hudson, Macedonia & Twinsburg
NEW IMPACT – Beginning Friday evening, September 25 , I-480 eastboud will have various lane restrictions through Monday morning, September 28. Estimated completion, late September.

Howe Avenue reconstruction, Cuyahoga Falls
NEW IMPACT - Howe Ave. eastbound between Main St. and the Applebee’s Driveway is CLOSED through Friday, September 25 at 4 p.m., for roadway reconstruction. The detour is Main St. to Independence Ave. to Bucholzer Blvd. Estimated completion, late September 2020.
