BUTLER COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

Through the week ending September 19, 2020: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Butler County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. CONTINUING IMPACTS

C.R. 19 (Cin-Day Road) Slide Repair - Landslide remediation along the ramp from Cin-Day Road to I-75 North. Traffic is being maintained with barrels and/or arrow boards.

C.R. 20 (Tylersville Road) Bridge Deck Replacement - Replace the deck and parapet walls on the I-75 overpass structure. Traffic on Tylersville Road will be maintained in a minimum of one lane in each direction during Phase 1; I-75 may be subject to intermittent lane closures at the overpass during overnight hours. Completion is scheduled for June 2021.

C.R. 24 (Jacksonburg Road) Roundabout – The south leg of Jacksonburg Road is closed at the intersection with S.R. 73. The closure will be in effect through late October, and traffic will be detoured by way of Morganthaler Road, Riverside Drive, Hamilton Trenton and Wayne Madison roads.

S.R. 73 Roundabout Construction - At the intersection with Jacksonburg Road. Trucks will be entering and exiting the work site, and motorists may encounter periodic delays. S.R. 73 may be subject to single-lane restrictions daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; however, traffic will be maintained by flaggers as needed. Completion is scheduled for Summer 2021.

S.R. 748 Resurfacing - Between S.R. 126 and S.R. 129. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards and/or flaggers during working hours, from approximately 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Completion is scheduled for early fall of 2020. 

NEW IMPACTS

T.R. 4/S.R. 129 Bridge Repair - On the Van Gordon Road bridge over S.R. 129. Westbound S.R. 129 will be closed between I-75 and Van Gordon Road from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21. In addition, Van Gordon Road and the ramps from Liberty Way and Cincinnati Dayton Road to S.R. 129 West will be closed during the weekend. Traffic will be detoured via I-75 North, S.R. 63 West, S.R. 4 and S.R. 747.

S.R. 4 Median Repair - At S.R. 73 in South Middletown next week. Width restrictions will be in effect at the S.R. 4/S.R. 73 ramps, and various lane closures will be in effect daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on S.R. 4. Traffic will be maintained in a minimum of one lane in either direction throughout construction, and all work is expected to be complete in mid-fall.

S.R. 122 Building Demolition - Single-lane restriction between Michael and Hursh roads. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

S.R. 129 & S.R. 130 Pavement Repairs - On S.R. 129, between Millville and the Indiana state line, and on S.R. 130, between Lanes Mill Road and S.R. 177. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards and/or flaggers.
