ODOT to Host Virtual Public Meeting for U.S. 33 & Pickerington/Allen Rd. Area Interchange
JACKSONTOWN, OHIO - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is evaluating improvement options for the U.S. Route 33 corridor between Pickerington Road and Allen Road in Fairfield County. The existing intersection of U.S. 33 and Pickerington Rd. has been identified as a high-crash location. The proposed project is evaluating options for constructing an interchange and removing at-grade intersections within the project study area.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, Ohio's Governor Mike DeWine has prohibited mass gatherings and the CDC has recommended using social distancing to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. On October 8, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, a virtual question and answer session will be held for participants to ask questions and make comments on the proposed project alternatives.
The meeting will be recorded, and any comments received are considered a matter of public record. Please click here for the information on how to attend the virtual question and answer session.
We welcome written comments from members of the public who did not have the opportunity or do not wish to make an oral comment. Comments will be accepted through November 13, 2020 as follows:
