PERRY COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

WEEK OF 8/24/2020

Jacksontown, Ohio (Thursday, August 20, 2020) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Perry County. All outlined work is weather permitting.

SR 555

State Route 555

State Route 555 closure for tree trimming operations - SR 555 is scheduled to close for tree trimming between the Morgan County line/SR 669 and SR 37. Crews will begin at the Morgan County line and work south towards SR 37. This is a daytime closure only. Work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • New impacts: Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 24. Estimated completion is September 18, 2020.

Hopewell Indian Road bridge replacement (County Road 64) - Hopewell Indian Road is scheduled to close for 120 days for bridge replacement. Closure location is east of CR 32 (Geo Ice Rd) and west of CR 36 (Sand Rock Rd). Estimated completion is Fall 2020.

  • New impacts:Start date has been changed. Hopewell Indian Road is scheduled to close on Monday, August 31. Detour: CR 64 (Hopewell Indian Rd) to CR 32 (Geo Ice Rd) to SR 204 to CR 36 (Sand Rock Rd) to CR 64 (Hopewell Indian Rd).
