U.S. 27 Bridge Repair Project Scheduled
Hamilton County (Thursday, August 20, 2020) – A bridge repair project is scheduled to begin on U.S. Route 27 (Colerain Avenue), with lane restrictions in effect at the Interstate 275 overpass beginning this weekend.
On Friday, August 21, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close the outside (right) lanes of Colerain Avenue over I-275 in the north and southbound directions for pavement overlay work on the bridge. The restrictions will go into effect at 8 p.m. on the 21st and continue until 5 a.m. Monday, August 24.
Weather permitting, crews will close the inside (left) lanes on both bridges to complete the pavement overlay the following weekend, August 28-31.
Complete General Construction was awarded a contract for approximately $2.16 million to repair several structures throughout the district, and all work on the Colerain Avenue structure is anticipated to be completed in late August.
