CLERMONT COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

Through the week ending August 22, 2020: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Clermont County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. CONTINUING IMPACTS

S.R. 28/T.R. 241 (Happy Hollow Road) Bridge Replacement - On T.R. 241 (Happy Hollow Road), over the S.R. 28 Bypass. Happy Hollow Road will be reduced to one lane, and traffic will be maintained with temporary signals. S.R. 28 traffic is being maintained in both directions; however, the bypass will be closed in the westbound direction on Monday and Tuesday, August 17 and 18, from 10 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be detoured via Business S.R. 28 during periods of closure. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in late spring of 2021.

S.R. 232 Culvert Replacement & Slide Repair - S.R. 232 is closed between U.S. 52 and Dry Run Road through early September. Traffic will be detoured via S.R. 756, S.R. 743 and U.S. 52. Completion is scheduled for early fall of 2020.

U.S. 50 Resurfacing - On U.S. 50 in Milford, from the Hamilton County line to the Milford Parkway. Traffic will be maintained in one lane in either direction throughout construction. The project is scheduled to be completed in mid-fall of 2020.

NEW IMPACTS

C.R. 368 (Batavia Road) Bridge - Batavia Road is closed over S.R. 32. The closure will be in effect through late September, and traffic will be detoured by way of S.R. 32, Half Acre Road and James Sauls Drive.

S.R. 133 & S.R. 222 Shoulder Reconditioning – On S.R. 133, between Goodwin Schoolhouse – Pt. Isabel and Hoover roads, and on S.R. 222, between Mt. Holly Road and Old S.R. 222. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards and/or flaggers.

S.R. 232, S.R. 276 & S.R. 450 Vegetation Clearing - At various locations on all three routes. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards and/or flaggers.

S.R. 749 Pavement Repair - At various locations on S.R. 749. Traffic will be maintained in one lane with arrow boards and/or flaggers.
