MAHONING COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update
WEEK OF AUGUST 10
AKRON, Ohio (Thursday, August 6, 2020) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Mahoning County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

Interstate 680 projects |
Interstate 680 & State Route 711 bridge repairs, Youngstown NEW IMPACTS – On Thursday evening, August 6, at 9 p.m., the following lane restriction and ramp closure will be in place until Friday, August 7, at 1 p.m. for a concrete bridge deck pour.
- I-680 southbound will be reduced to one lane between State Route 711 and Bella Vista Ave.
- The ramp from I-680 southbound to Belle Vista Ave. will be closed. The detour will be I-680 southbound to Mahoning Ave. to I-680 northbound.
State Route 7 culvert in Beaver Township NEW IMPACT - State Route 7 just mile south of State Route 165 will be closed beginning Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14. The detour will be State Route 14 to State Route 164 to State Route 165.
Meridian Rd. reconstruction, Youngstown NEW IMPACT - The ramp from Meridian Rd. to I-680 southbound will be closed beginning Monday, August 10 through late August for the Mahoning County Engineer’s Meridian Rd. reconstruction project. The detour will be I-680 northbound to I-80 westbound to State Route 46 to I-80 eastbound to I-680 southbound.
