Interstate 75/Kemper Road Project Update
Hamilton County (Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020) - As part of the Interstate 75/Kemper Road project, the following restrictions will be in this weekend on I-75 North for bridge work.
Friday-Monday, Aug. 7-10:
- Single-lane closure on I-75 North, just south of the Sharon Road interchange, from 8 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday.
Friday, Aug. 7:
- Double-lane closure on I-75 North, just south of the Sharon Road interchange, from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8.
Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 8 and 9:
- Double-lane closure on I-75 North, just south of the Sharon Road interchange, from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the restrictions, and all work will be contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
