Tylersville Road Bridge Rehab Set To Begin

Butler County (Friday, July 3, 2020) – The start of a bridge rehabilitation on County Road 20 (Tylersville Road) over Interstate 75 in Butler County has been postponed by one week.

Working in coordination with the Butler County Engineer's Office, construction is now scheduled tentatively to start Monday, July 13, following the BCEO's Tylersville Road widening project that is slated to be completed next week.

As part of the bridge rehab over I-75, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will be resurfacing the deck, replacing the parapet walls and fencing, and repairing the substructure, of the Tylersville Road overpass bridge located between Cox and Cincinnati-Dayton roads.

During Phase 1 of the project, Tylersville Road will be maintained in a minimum of one lane in either direction, and I-75 may be subject to intermittent, temporary restrictions in either direction at the overpass during construction; however, traffic will be maintained at all times.

Complete General Construction was awarded a contract for approximately $2 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in June 2021.
