LICKING COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update
WEEK OF 6/29/2020
Jacksontown, Ohio (Thursday, June 25, 2020) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Licking County. All outlined work is weather permitting.

U.S. Route 62 |
U.S. Route 62 widening and reconstruction - Roadway widening and reconstruction between Oregon Drive and Benedict Drive in the village of Johnstown. Two-way traffic is currently being maintained on U.S. 62. Estimated completion is Fall 2020.

New impacts: Beginning Monday, July 6, U.S. 62 will close for 60 days between Meadow Lane and Williams Street in the village of Johnstown. The road is scheduled to re-open on Friday, September 4, weather permitting. Detour: SR 161 to SR 310 to SR 37.
State Route 13 rock excavation project south of Hopewell Drive - Rock excavation and the addition of a retaining wall on SR 13 south of Hopewell Drive on Radio Hill. Estimated completion is Fall 2020.

New impacts: Beginning Monday, July 6, SR 13 will close for approximately 7 weeks for rock excavation. Detour: U.S. 40 to SR 79 to SR 16
State Route 79 bridge replacement south of Wilkins Corner - Bridge replacement on SR 79 near Swisher Road. SR 79 will be restricted with temporary traffic signals. Estimated completion is Fall 2020.
