BUTLER COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

Through the week ending June 26, 2020: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Butler County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. INTERSTATE 75 CONSTRUCTION I-75/Union Centre Boulevard Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI)  - At the I-75/Union Centre Boulevard interchange by the Butler County Engineer’s Office. Traffic is being maintained at the interchange; however, intermittent periods of closure and/or lane restrictions may be in effect. The project is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2020.

CONTINUING IMPACTS

S.R. 129 Resurfacing - Between the village of Millville and the city of Hamilton. One lane of traffic will be maintained with flaggers between 7 p.m. and 3 p.m., with both lanes open to traffic from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The project is scheduled for completion in Fall 2020.

S.R. 747 Signalization - Signal upgrade at the intersections of Muhlhauser and Port Union roads, upgrading signals with flashing yellow arrows. A minimum of one lane of traffic in all directions will be maintained.

NEW IMPACTS

S.R. 73 & S.R. 177 Clearing & Grubbing - On S.R. 73 from S.R. 177 to the corporation limit of Trenton, and on S.R. 177, between Stillwell Beckett Road and the Preble County line. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers and/or arrow boards in the respective work zones.

S.R. 126 & S.R. 177 Ditching - Ditching work on S.R. 126, between California and Weaver roads, and on S.R. 177, between Somerville and Earhart roads. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers and/or arrow boards.

Various Locations Bridge Inspections - Lane restrictions will be in effect at various bridge locations on S.R. 4, S.R. 73, S.R. 122, S.R. 129 and U.S. 127. Traffic will be maintained by barrels, arrow boards and/or flaggers as needed in the work zones.
