FAIRFIELD COUNTY: Weekly Construction Update

WEEK OF 6/15/2020

Jacksontown, Ohio (Thursday, June 11, 2020) - The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Fairfield County. All outlined work is weather permitting.

204

State Route 204

State Route 204 bridge replacement between Pickerington Road and Ault Road - SR 204 is scheduled to close for bridge placement. Road is estimated to be closed for 60 days. Estimated completion is Fall 2020. Detour: SR 204 to SR 310 to I-70 to R 256 to SR 204

  • New impacts: SR 204 closure is scheduled for Monday, June 15. 

State Route 256 between SR 188 and SR 644 - SR 256 is scheduled to close on Monday, June 15, for multiple culvert replacements. Detour: SR 37 WB to SR 204 EB to SR 13 SB and reverse. Estimated completion is Friday, June 26. 

  • New impacts: Crews will work at three separate locations between Cattail Road and Ridenour. 
    • 1st location: SR 256 and Cattail Road intersection
    • 2nd location: SR 256 and Ridenour Road intersection
    • 3rd location: Just east of Radar Road
