Interstate 275 Repaving and Bridge Work Project Update
Hamilton County (Thursday, April 30, 2020) - The following restrictions will be in place as part of the Interstate 275 repaving and bridge work project:
Friday, May 1 - Monday, May 4 - Extended single lane closure on I-275 East from the Kentucky side of the Combs Hehl bridge to Four Mile Road between 7 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday to remove barrier wall.
Sunday, May 3 - Saturday, May 9 - Various lane closures on Kellogg Avenue at the I-275 overpasses daily between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for bridge painting.
Monday, May 4 - Friday, May 8 - Single-lane closures on I-275 East and West between Four Mile Road and the Kentucky side of the Combs Hehl Bridge daily between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to remove barrier wall.
Monday, May 4 - Sunday, May 10 - Various lane closures on I-275 West from Four Mile Road to the Kentucky side of the Combs Hehl bridge nightly between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following day for paving. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.
The following restrictions remain in place for trucks:
- 10’ wide
- 75’ overall length
- Weight restriction of 120,000 lbs.
Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions, and all work is contingent upon the weather. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
