Behind the Barrel: Ongoing ODOT Work This Week

Through the week ending April 4, 2020: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions and/or short-term closures for scheduled maintenance projects on the state highway system in ODOT District 8. All work will be contingent upon the weather. For construction information and statewide information regarding road conditions, visit ODOT on the web at www.Ohgo.com.  

Butler County:

• Clearing and grubbing on SR 126, between Okeana and the Indiana state line.
• Guardrail repair on SR 122, near the Preble County line and near SR 744.
• Ditching on SR 122 at locations between SR 744 and CR 78 (W. Alexandria Road).
• Ditching on SR 744 at locations between CR 71 (Waynes Trace Road) and SR 122.
• Pavement repairs on SR 130, between US 27 and SR 177, and on SR 129, from Cin-Day Road to I-75.
• Sign repair, clearing/grubbing, and sweeping at multiple locations throughout the county.

Clermont County:

• Berming and cable rail repair at various locations on I-275.
• Pothole patching on SR 32 at I-275.
• Litter pickup at various locations on SR 32.
• Ditching on at various locations on SR 232 and SR 756.
• Chipping, brush clearing, guardrail repair and sign repair or replacement on various routes throughout the county.

Clinton County:

• Culvert replacement on SR 350 at TR 242 (Hildebrant Road).
• Pavement repair on US 68, between the Brown County line and Midland; on SR 134, from the Highland County line to Farmers Road and from SR 350 to Davids Road at Wilmington; and on SR 350, from the Warren County line to SR 73.
• Tree cutting and brush chipping on US 22 from the Warren County line to Wilmington, and on SR 730, between SR 133 and SR 350.
• Ditching on SR 28, between CR 62 (Tar Pike Road) and the village of Midland.
• Litter pickup and sign maintenance at various locations throughout the county.

Greene County:

• Brush cutting and vegetation control on SR 444, between the Montgomery County line and Fairborn, and at various locations on US 35.
• Cable rail repair on I-675 near Fairborn, as well as bridge maintenance at various structures.
• Bridge cleaning at the I-675 and US 35 interchange.
• Fence repair on US 42 near Richards Road.
• Catch basin repair on SR 235, approximately one mile north of US 68.
• Sign installation, inspection and repair, as well as cable rail inspection, at various locations throughout the county.

Hamilton County:

• Pavement repair on Ft. Washington Way, as well as at various locations I-71 North and South between I-75 and the Warren County line.
• Ditching along I-71 North near the Stewart Road overpass.
• Sweeping I-75 North and South in the Downtown Cincinnati area.
• Tree cutting and clearing on US 50 West, between SR 126 and the Clermont County line.
• Curb repair on SR 126 at I-275.
• Culvert clearing on SR 126.
• Grading along guardrail on I-275 West at Colerain Avenue.
• Pavement, sign, guardrail and cable rail repair, as well as litter pickup, at various locations throughout the county.

Preble County:

• Culvert replacement and ditching on SR 503 at TR 7 (Van Trump Road), near the Butler County line.
• Debris removal on SR 503 at CR 97 (Halderman Road).
• Grubbing at various locations on I-70.
• Ditching on SR 725 near CR 71 (Fairhaven College Corner Road).
• Sign repair or replacement at various locations throughout the county.

Warren County:

• Clearing and grubbing along SR 350, from TR 94 (Cold Springs Road) and US 22.
• Sweeping I-75 in Butler and Warren counties.
• Clearing and grubbing along I-75, between the Butler County line and Middletown.
• Tree trimming, brush clearing and ditching on SR 123, between CR 91 (Brant Road) and TR 39 (Waynesville Road).
• Pothole patching, vegetation control and sign repair or replacement at various locations throughout the county.
