High Water in Central Ohio

As of 4 PM Friday, March 20, numerous routes are closed throughout Central Ohio due to high water from the heavy rain.

In addition to the closures below, other routes may have lanes that are restricted due to high water. Motorists are reminded to never drive through flooded roadways - the water may be deeper than it looks. Roads will reopen to traffic once the water recedes. 

FRANKLIN COUNTY

UPDATED: Interstate 71 is NOW OPEN in both directions.

Interstate 270 (South Side) - Ramps from I-270 east and west to I-71 south are closed.

State Route 104 (South Side) - SR 104 closed between Stringtown Road and I-71.

MADISON COUNTY

UPDATED: State Route 142 is NOW OPEN.

PICKAWAY COUNTY

NEW: State Route 762 - SR 762 is closed between US 23 and SR 104.

LICKING COUNTY

NEW: Interstate 70 - I-70 is closed in both directions between SR 158 and SR 79. Detour: SR 79 to US 40 to SR 158 or reverse.

NEW: State Route 13 - SR 13 is closed between Vogel St. and Hopewell Dr.

State Route 37 - SR 37 is closed between I-70 and US 40.

State Route 79 - SR 79 is closed between Hickman Rd. and Pinewood Trail.

State Route 79 - SR 79 is closed in both directions between Rheinhart and Heath.

PERRY COUNTY

NEW: State Route 668 - SR 668 is closed between SR 204 and Township Rd. 52.

State Route 204 - SR 204 is closed in both directions between SR 668 and SR 757.

COSHOCTON COUNTY

State Route 715 - SR 715 closed between US 36 in Knox Co. and US 36 in Coshocton Co. 

State Route 16 - SR 16 is closed between SR 83 in Coshocton to SR 60 in Muskingum Co.

GUERNSEY COUNTY

NEW: State Route 541 - SR 541 is closed between Window Rd. and Ringer Rd.

NEW: State Route 513 - SR 513 is closed between County Rd. 49 and Ipswitch Rd.

State Route 285 - SR 285 is closed at US 22.

State Route 658 - SR 658 is closed at Twin Sisters.

State Route 821 - SR 821 is closed between SR 313 and SR 146.

State Route 146 - SR 146 is closed at Hickle Rd. and between SR 821 and Pleasant Rd.
