Structure Demolition Slated To Begin On State Route 73 At Jacksonburg Road In Butler County

Lebanon (Wednesday, January 29, 2020) – In preparation of the upcoming state Route 73/Jacksonburg Road roundabout project, demolition will get under way next week on three separate structures on S.R. 73.

Demolition of two houses and one shed is scheduled to begin the week of February 3 on state Route 73, specifically on the northwest and northeast corners of its intersection with Jacksonburg Road.

Most demolition work will be done on-site of the property, with one lane in each direction of S.R. 73 being maintained. Once demolition is complete, there will be various short-term full closures on S.R. 73 while debris and equipment is removed.

A contract was awarded to Fillmore Construction, LLC for approximately $119,000, and the scheduled completion date is the end of March 2020.
