SR 123/132 Intersection Improvement
To Be Implemented

Lebanon (Monday, December 12, 2019) – In an effort to improve safety on state routes 123 and 132, traffic changes will be implemented this month at the intersection in Warren County.

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 8’s Traffic Studies Department has identified a trend of crashes at the intersection of SR 123 and SR 132, where the route is currently a two-way stop with SR 123 traffic having the right of way.

As a solution to address the crash trend, ODOT will designate the intersection as a four-way stop.

The conversion from a two-way stop to a four-way stop is scheduled to take place on December 12; however, warning signs are scheduled to be installed today, December 1, to provide advance notice of the scheduled change.

All work is contingent upon the weather, and motorists are reminded to use additional caution through the area.
