Lane Restriction Scheduled on SR 131 Next Week

Clermont County (Thursday, November 14, 2019) - Paving and drainage operations will require single-lane restrictions on state Route 131 East in Clermont County next week.

SR 131 East will be reduced to one lane between Mt. Vernon Drive and Sugar Camp Road from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday, November 18, through Friday, November 22. It is anticipated the restriction will be in place on Monday only; however, completion will be contingent upon the weather and could result in the project being extended throughout the week.

Traffic will be maintained with flaggers while crews are at work, and motorists may encounter short-term periods of delay. Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and lane closure.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
