Upcoming ODOT Work This Week
For the reporting period ending August 24, 2019: The following traffic advisory includes road construction and major maintenance projects requiring long-term lane restrictions and/or closures along the state and federal highway system in Scioto County. SCIOTO COUNTY
AUGUST 21: S.R. 823 will be subject to intermittent, single-lane restrictions between U.S. 23 and U.S. 52 for routine planned maintenance operations that includes litter control, weeding, ditching and/or pavement sweeping. Traffic will be maintained in one, 12-foot lane in a mobile operation in either direction from approximately 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
SEPTEMBER 23-OCTOBER 4: S.R. 125 will be reduced to one lane between T.R. 99 (Mackletree Road) and C.R. 96 (Upper Twin Creek Road) for a culvert replacement project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers during operational hours, from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, and motorists are advised of possible intermittent periods of delay.
A culvert replacement project is under way in Shawnee State Forest, where crews are replacing culverts and repairing pavement at multiple locations on FR 1, FR 6 and FR 14. Traffic will be maintained in one lane with the use of flaggers or temporary signals; however, short-term temporary closures of the roadways may be in effect during hours of operation. All work is anticipated to be completed in mid-summer. (#19-1015)
