Montgomery County Current Construction

For the week of August 5th -11th 

SIDNEY (Monday, August 5, 2019) -  The following closures are currently in effect for the week of August 5th - 11th:

• I-675 between I-75 and Paragon Road, Nightly lane closures April 22^nd – August 9^th between the hours of 7 pm and 6 am Monday - Thursday. These lane closures will take place between 8 pm and 6 am Friday – Sunday. These will become double lane closures at 9 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
• I-75 south Ramp to SR 4 north, Lane closure August 6^th between 9 am and 3 pm. One lane will remain open on the ramp.
• SR 48 south between Brookmount Road and Boundbrook Drive, Daily lane closures August 5^th – 9^th between 9 am and 4 pm. One southbound lane will remain open. 
• I-675 between SR 725 and McEwen Road, Shoulder closure August 2^nd – 31 Outside shoulders will be closed. Lanes will remain open.
• SR 48 between Monument Avenue and Riverview Drive, BRIDGE CLOSED August 2^nd – 5^th. The official detour is: northbound – SR 48 to Monument Avenue to Great Miami Boulevard to SR 48.  Southbound – Great Miami Boulevard to Riverside Drive to Second Street to SR 48.
• I-675 between SR 725 and McEwen Road, Nightly lane closures August 2^nd – 31^st between 7 pm and 6 am. These will become double lane closures at 9 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• US 35 east Ramp to I-75 north, Ramp restriction July 28^th – September 7 One 12’ lane will remain open on the ramp.
• US 35 east Ramp to I-75 South, RAMP CLOSURE July 28^th – September 7^th. The official detour is: US 35 east to Steve Whalen Boulevard exit to US 35 west.
• I-70 west Ramp to SR 49 north, Nightly lane closures on the ramp July 11^th – September 30^th between 6 pm and 6 am. One lane will remain open. *There will be a width restriction in this area.
• I-75 between Albany Street and Sellars Road/Main Street, Nightly lane closures July 17^th – August 15^th between 8 pm and 6 am. These will become double lane closures at 10 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• I-75 between Wagner Ford Road and I-70, Nightly lane closures July 14^th – August 15^th between 7 pm and 6 am. These will become double lane closures between 10 pm and 5 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• US 35 between Woodman Drive and Linden Avenue, Traffic pattern shift July 14^th – October 31^st. Two lanes will be shifted to the right side of the roadway.
• SR 49 northbound between Hoke Road and US 40, Lane closure June 26^th – September 30^th. One northbound lane will remain open. *There will also only be one lane open on the ramp from I-70 west to SR 49 north during this time.
• SR 49 southbound between US 40 and I-70, Lane closure June 26^th – September 30^th. One southbound lane will remain open.
• SR 741 between Prestige Plaza Drive and Silvercliff Drive, Lane width restriction June 17^th – November 8^th. Lanes will be restricted to 10’6”. 
• SR 725 between Mall Park Drive and Prestige Plaza, Lane width restriction June 17^th – November 8^th. Lanes will be restricted to 10’6”. 
• SR 725 between Mall Park Drive and Normandy Lane, Nightly lane closures June 17^th – September 13^th between 8 pm and 7 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• SR 741 between Landing Way and Prestige Plaza Drive, Nightly lane closures June 17^th – September 13^th between 8 pm and 7 am. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• US 35 eastbound between Abbey Avenue and I-75, Nightly lane closures May 13^th – August 10^th between the hours of 7 pm and 6 am. Two eastbound lanes will remain open.
• South Broadway Ramp to I-75 north and south, RAMP CLOSURE May 14^th – August 14^th. The official detour is: Germantown Street to James H. McGee Boulevard to US 35 east.
• SR 48 between First Street and Riverdale Street, Lane closures May 3^rd – October 31^st. One lane will remain open in each direction. *Traffic will be switched from the southbound side of SR 48 bridge to the newly built northbound side.
• Riverview Avenue near Main Street, ROAD CLOSURE May 3^rd – October 22 The official detour is: Southbound: SR 48 to Monument Avenue to Riverview Avenue. Northbound: SR 48 to Great Miami Boulevard to Riverview Avenue.

ODOT closures focus on Interstate, US and State routes.  For information on local roads you will need to contact the county, city or township where the road is located.  Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure.  All work is weather permitting. Safety is a top priority at ODOT. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
