SR 43 safety improvement project underway

JEFFERSON COUNTY - Work is set to begin this week on the SR 43 safety improvement project in Amsterdam. This project includes the realignment of SR 43 in the Village of Amsterdam, new sidewalks and drainage.

SR 43
  • Traffic maintained at all times with a 12' width restriction
  • Contractor: Shelly & Sands, Inc.
  • Completion date: October 31, 2019
